About Me
Raised in Plano, Texas, Dr. Bahir Chamseddin has spent most of his life in the Dallas area, where he developed a deep commitment to dermatology and patient care.
Dr. Bahir Chamseddin’s philosophy centers on combining his love for understanding medicine, medical innovation, and dermatology education with a patient-centered approach to treatment.
Dr. Chamseddin’s journey into dermatology began during his adolescence when he faced his own skin-related challenges. These personal experiences, coupled with witnessing the effects of genetic skin conditions on loved ones, inspired his dedication to improving patients’ health, confidence, and overall well-being through education and tailored treatment plans.
Dr. Chamseddin earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. As Chief Resident of Dermatology at UT Southwestern, he refined his skills and expertise in the field.
Professionally, Dr. Chamseddin is passionate about medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, procedural dermatology, and clinical trials. He has a unique background in developing innovative biomedical prototypes, conducting evidence-based research, and serving underserved communities in his local area. His approach is grounded in providing empathetic care that meets each patient’s specific medical needs.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Chamseddin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, staying active in the gym, and playing pick-up basketball and soccer.
