Jason Bentow, M.D.
About Me
Dr. Jason Bentow, a board-certified dermatologist and diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine.
He did his internship at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. He went on to complete a clinical pathology and dermatology residency as well as a dermatology research fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, where he also served as chief resident in dermatology and received the Alexander A. Fisher Resident Award, the highest award for research conducted by a resident.
Dr. Bentow has published in peer-reviewed dermatology journals in the area of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology as well as dermatopathology. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic skin disorders (skin cancer). He treats patients with alopecia, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, autoimmune skin diseases, and acute and chronic causes of itch. He treats malignant and benign skin lesions both surgically and medically.
Dr. Bentow also treats age and sun-related skin changes. He performs cosmetic consultations and procedures and is able to advise patients on the use of energy-based devices such as photo facials, and ablative lasers. He has years of experience with chemical peels for both medical and cosmetic concerns and is skilled in the use of Juvéderm, Sculptra, and Botox Cosmetic.
Dr. Bentow comes to Dallas Associated Dermatologists with more than 5 years of experience. He currently engaged and resides in Dallas. He enjoys skiing, botany, and motorsport racing.
